South Beach
South Beach is a must. Arguably the nicest region in all of Miami, South Beach exhibits the glamour and unique visual appeal that Miami is known for. The oceanfront itself is overwhelming to see in person, and its turquoise waters are chronically alluring, even during a storm. South Beach is where many of Miami’s famous attractions and high-class hotels lie.
Ocean Drive
One of the most iconic boulevards in the US, Ocean Drive displays Miami’s Art Deco culture with luxury and opulence. Facing the oceanfront, the streets are just as picturesque as they are entertaining, Ocean Drive consists of upscale boutiques, eccentric bars, gift shops, and 5-star restaurants. With exquisite architecture, high-end brands, and fancy hotels, the Drive will make you feel glamorous even if you don’t dress up to go.
Lummus Park
A paved, stretch road decorated with palm trees, powdery sand on either side, and plenty of greenery, Lummus Park is your little piece of Miami paradise. A tropical meets nature-esque region, Lummus Park is often where you’ll see pictures being taken, and even maybe movies being filmed. The famous piece of land is open to the public and can be viewed from various places in Miami Beach.
Lincoln Road
You can’t visit Miami without experiencing its superior shopping scene. Lincoln Road is one of the most iconic shopping destinations in the country, with a series of designer names dotted along the aesthetically pleasing streets. Lincoln’s occupied buildings give off Venetian vibes with some Art Deco character thrown in, similar to Ocean Drive. There’s tons of incredible places to eat in Lincoln Road as well, so when the hours of shopping catch up with you there are plenty of break-time options. Lincoln Road is home to reputable shops such as Zara, Guess, J Crew, and Claudio Milano.
South Pointe Park
South Pointe Park overlooks the southern tip of Miami Beach. The green space boasts breathtaking views of the South Beach shoreline, PortMiami’s cruise ships, the city’s skyline and Fisher Island. South Pointe also offers direct beach access, stunning trails for walking and biking, picnic areas, and an off-leash dog park. Plenty of kid-friendly areas like a jungle gym can be found at South Pointe as well.
