What’s Belize Like Year Round?

Belize contains a pleasurable subtropical climate that is comfortable for travel year-round. The typical average temperature hovers around 80 degrees F, and it’s rare to find temperatures below the 60’s. Therefore, there’s really no bad time to visit Belize!

Belize Safety

Tourist-centric places like Placencia, San Pedro, and Caye Caulker are pretty safe areas for tourists. However, you should visit Belize City with caution, as this is an area where crime is often risen. It’s best to visit Belize in a group or do excursions through a guided tour

How Should I Plan My Trip?

You should go to Belize for at least 4 days to a week. Pick any major attractions you want to see first, and factor in transportation time. Also, make sure to book tickets well in advance. In some places, you can get a car rental in Belize, although make sure you’re looking in safe, tourist-friendly locations. There are several resorts, yoga retreats, and hotels to stay in Belize, although make sure you’ll be able to get to your attractions of interest easily from your hotel! Otherwise, it’s never a bad idea to stay at a different hotel closer to your points of destination. Keep in mind that with certain attractions, you may be spending multiple hours touring. Lastly, budget your trip accordingly, and carry both cash and card!
